I just posted on the proposed budget cut idea by president Obama. If you are unfamiliar with the issue then I suggest that you check out my post on the federal employee civil servant pay freeze.
The republicans seem to welcome the measure (as do I), and that got me thinking about the bush tax cuts again. I have also posted on this matter recently and you should take a look at that post on the Bush tax cut conflict.
Here is what was running through my head...
I wonder how they (republicans backing preservation of the Bush tax cut for the wealthy) are going to justify backing fiscal actions that demand a pay freeze on all civil servants to save 28 billion and then insist on spending the 700 billion dollars to pay the richest of the rich.
I know why.
They were purchased.
What is really sad is that the Middle Class of America are split on the issue. People who watch FOX are brainwashed into thinking that Obama is some how trying to take away from them when it is plainly these whom they are voting for who are pulling one over their eyes.
I sure hope these Republicans backing the bush tax cuts got a big pay check. There is a lot of risk involved in stealing from the American middle class in such a blunt and obvious way.
Shame.
Shame and Balls... Big Balls. This is pretty much saying...
"Hey dumb dumbs (America), not only are we going to screw you, we are actually going to trick you into backing our effort. We know that you (the American people) are a bunch of sheep who can't think for yourself. So we are going to simply have Fox News manipulate you like we do every day"
Hey if it's not broken... seriously...
Are you dumb?
Do you think for yourself?
Do you?
Because most of us don't, and someone has to say something besides John Stewart. He has a fake News show for Christ sake.
Let's all start being grown ups.
Stop watching FOX.
It is so... so... sad. Also impressive. Hey the republican media is a power house and they have their audience hook, lock, and sinker.
Got to give them credit.

Never thought about it that way. You are right 100%! Damn we are some fools huh?
ReplyDeleteI don't consider myself gullible at all, and if you actually knew me, you would quickly see that I am no one's fool. I like Fox News. I have given all the so-called News Channels a chance and Fox News really is fair and balanced. I see many liberals and conservatives alike on the show. On MSNBC I see no conservatives only a bunch of negative name callers. I do think for myself and I believe that our current Administration has done nothing positive so far, my paycheck and healthcare are proof. Until I see otherwise, I don't think I will be praising them to quickly. JMO
ReplyDelete- Yeah I am gonna disagree with ya on FOX;
ReplyDelete- I think Fox News has a clear agenda that results in a strategic and systematic line up of programing that rotates carefully worded speculation News programing hosted by vanilla standard news casters that fade into the background after planting the seed for the following opinion/celeb programing. These opinion programs hosted by the big guys who in my opinion consciously lie through the "implications" of their msg. and thus turn a large portion of the population into a political tool.
- Actually your pay check would not exist in a republican administration whom is against the existence of your professional position.
- Literally.
-Your position at the US Census B. was created by an Obama initiative. FOX must have forgot.
- I agree with you on TV NEWS - All of it has an Agenda.
- At Least FOX is good at what they do. But for balanced News I suggest the Wall Street Journal and NPR, That is probably the best mix out there.
- Yeah MSNBC is no better (they are of course the other extreme). They are awful and bad for America in my opinion.
- Yes your health care and paycheck are proof.
